Pulley #2

This is the companion to Pulley #1, which I posted last November. Next up, both pulleys in one painting! However, they will have to get to the end of the line, there are so many other characters waiting patiently to be onstage.

Hi Carol!... A very capably handled still life! Love the contrast between the solid pulley form and the softer floral fabric/rug that the pulley sits on! A nice play... visually!

I'll check in to run over other offerings on your site. Enjoyed my first visit!

Good Painting!

Bruce Sherman

Hi Carol.
I just don`t know where you find the patience to produce these so realistic paintings. I wished that I had half of your patience. All the best carol.

Thanks to everyone who left comments about this piece! This was one of the paintings that went to my solo show. Although several pieces sold, this one is still with me. That's ok, it's one of my favorites, it has a lot of personal associations.
