A little study in red, black, and yellow. I wanted to show how a single, humble piece of fruit can be a visual as well as a tasty treat. I always try to include the variety in the title. That's my small effort toward encouraging growers to keep the varieties going.

Suddenly I smell apples......
Hi Carol.
I could easily eat this Braeburn and enjoy it. They are my second favourites, Coxes are my first. They will be out soon so I will be able to actually eat one. This Apple is so real, it`s beautiful. Well done again Carol. all the best.
Vic.
Love this!
Wow. This looks great.
Another beautiful apple!
The apple definately catches my eye first, and I love how the folds of the clothe leads my eye throughout the rest of the painting.
I absolutely love your realistic style...your work encourages me to keep on keeping on.
very beautiful works!
Very nice Carol - and apples are one of my favorite subjects too!
Gorgeous! I like the fabric the apple is resting on; it is interesting to look at but does not distract from the tasty focal point.
Very nice work. I like that you often incorporate things you find into your work.
