Herpetology Text

These things found their way to each other on the studio table, and just seemed to go together. I found the page of text in an old book shop, loved it, and have always intended to get it into a painting.

Hi Carol.
That Apple is absolutely outstanding, I love it. One would think that it is a photograph. But the difference is that there is that touch of impressionism to tell you it is a beautiful painting. All the best Carol.

Victor, thanks so much for your comments, yes, I think paintings have a great advantage over photos in situations like this.

Chloe, I guess I kept things soft because I wanted this to be a subtle little poem. Thanks for commenting.

LDahl, thanks for looking, glad you like what you see. I'm not real regular with posts, but I eventually have something new, please come again!

I could just eat that apple...another great painting. It is awesome how you can produce paintings so quickly!

Thanks Beverly! I wish I could produce even more, and even though I have increased production over time, I know I could do more and better work if I were full-time. Someday . . . !
