This piece is a little fantasy, you can make up your own story to go with the image. Several Alaska references here, the orca of course, and the sea glass, which was collected on Kodiak Island. The rocks and the shell come from the beach at Homer, Alaska. The little woman figure has been in the family for years, I have no idea where she is from, but I like her attitude!

I'm pretty sure you have me mixed up with Carole Lambert, author of A Passion for Sea Glass. We have the same name, but I didn't write the book. However, I hope people will see the information you included in your comment and follow up, if they are interested in sea glass. It is beautiful and always fun to find!
I will chime in on the sea glass, too... because I just got rid of it from a recent still life because I wasn't sure how to not make it look like blobs, but like glass, so, it's good to see how you did it!
